And so it begins....
So I decided to finally start blogging instead of posting on Facebook. I find this is much more "adult". There are so many things I can blog about, due to the fact I've lived a fairly CRAZY life. First though, let me tell you about myself.I've grown up most my life in a small town in Illinois. I have traveled a lot though, especially to the beach. My goal is to make it to the beach to live one day (which I may be pretty darn close to that dream).
I'm a mother of two. I have a 15 year old daughter and 5 year old son, and they couldn't be more opposite. I have been married for 13 years. I am only just recently 34 years old..that's right, do the math. I was a teenage, single mom and got married really young (both things I will blog about).
It worked out pretty good though, considering I graduated high school on time and graduated college. I have been a teacher now for 8 years. My husband and I do well, and have great kids, although the teenager and hyper boy can be a challenge!
My daughter plays travel softball and we travel everywhere to watch her play. One of my main purposes of this blog will be to talk about the places we go and inform other travel ball parents of what's out there (players, teams, restaurants, directions, shopping, things to do and NICE hotels in the area).
My second purpose of this blog will be to share our overall vacations and the places we travel to. This will include and cover some of the same things the softball posts cover.
My life is not boring and quite the adventure. So PLEASE join me.
